This year has been far from expected. However, despite the uncertainty and discomfort of the past few months, this period has forced me to reflect on and prioritize the people and values most important to me. For that I am deeply grateful.
During this unprecedented time of unrest and uncertainty, it is more important than ever to stand in solidarity against racism, oppression, violence, and inequality. I am actively listening, learning, and doing my part to support organizations and businesses that work to build a better future – one of solidarity, one of awareness, one of compassion, and one free of injustice.
Over the past two months, I have had the opportunity to pause and reflect on the power of community. It has been so inspiring to see people coming together during these trying times - lifting each other up and supporting the local businesses that make New Haven such a wonderful place to live and do business.
